Keith Chapman: The Lost Radio Broadcasts, Vol. II CD
Keith Chapman brought the art of Symphonic playing to new heights with bold and daring color arrangements. These superb, digitally restored recordings faithfully capture the lush majesty of the Wanamaker Organ, and include more than two hours of beautiful music and fascinating commentary. The selections were from radio broadcast programs produced by Keith Chapman. Upon Chapmans death in 1989, the masters were not located and the material was presumed lost. Two listeners with superior recording equipment captured several FM programs on tape. This release has been very well received and is destined to become a collectors item. Produced by the Friends of the Wanamaker Organ.
